The MRX Polymer Analyser delivers powerful polymer characterisation capabilities to researchers in the chemical, petrochemical and consumer products industries. Major applications include:

  • Studies of phase transitions in polymers
  • Studies of cross-linking in polymers
  • Measurement of the isotactic index of polymers

Researchers can characterise polymers over a wide range of environmental conditions, and work on high temperature polymers. This is made possible by the variable temperature probe option allowing the analysis of samples at temperatures ranging from -100°C to +200°C.

Powerful bespoke capability

For advanced research, the MRX gives the researcher total freedom to design and control pulse sequences and filter settings, delivering powerful method development and advanced investigation capability. No other benchtop NMR spectrometer comes with such extensive capabilities.

The MRX Polymer Analyser comes with pulse programming software allowing the user to define their own radiofrequency pulse sequences and filter characteristics. The acquisition system allows up to 1MHz A/D sampling and the measurement of up to 128,000 echoes. Sets of measurements using different parameters can be sequenced without user intervention, using Active-XTM, from Excel, Matlab or similar packages.
